The Roof



With more than three feet of snow on the roof, and another 6 to 9 inches forecast tonight, I decided to shovel the roof; well, at least the flat part over the front porch. Several structures have already collapsed around town.

    Thanks for the concern.

    If I had my preference, I wouldn't be on the roof at all, but so many places have been collapsing around town, especially the flat sections.

    The roof over my front porch is flat and has only a single beam to support it.
