My daughter recently received recognition for demonstrating one of the six traits of the Character Counts program: responsibility. Rhonda and I watched with admiration as the principal gave her a certificate in front of a school assembly. Her teacher later reported that the award was given to acknowledge all the ways McKenna helps in class beyond the average expectation.
