Little Falls Drum, with Francis Carson.
Father Thomas Connolly, SJ.
Wellpinit Powwow this year brought a series of small blessings to my life, each one adding to a larger quality of happiness.
First, I got to attend mass with Father Connolly Sunday morning, and then speak personally with him about his experience with my grandfather. Later, I got to judge one of the wardance categories (Men's Golden Age), and then sing with two drums, Little Falls and Hall Creek. Not only that, but I got to visit with people I haven't seen in many years. Friendships were renewed and even a few fences mended. I'm thankful I went.
