Driving by Whitworth College this morning, I was alarmed to see a nearby house completely engulfed in flames. My daughter and I stopped to see, and found the fire department conducting training exercises. We were able to get close enough to feel the warmth of the fire on our skin and take some pretty amazing pictures. It's not every day you get such a clear view of a burning house.
Of course, McKenna was excited to run home and tell everyone what she saw. She and I had a fun day together.
