My family decided to purchase a Christmas tree this year. We found a beautiful noble fir for a reasonable price. My daughters promptly named the tree Timothy.
Who knows? My daughters felt compelled to personify the tree and give it a name. The name Timothy spontaneously appeared and became the name of this year's tree. By the time I turned to pay, the matter was settled.
Timothy Tree! Well, its a fantastic name, obviously. It's originally Greek meaning "bearing the likeness of God". I can't really speak for myself -- but that tree definitely has the likeness of God about it.
