After what seemed like an endless winter, we finally got a warm, sunny day.
I took the dogs on a walk and encountered this little hawk in someone's yard. As we approached, it flew into this tree and waited for several moments. I was able to take a handful of photographs before it flew away.
Leaving the neighborhood, we walked down the hill toward the Little Spokane River where we saw this bald eagle perched in a tree.
The river flooded beyond its normal bounds and flowed through this meadow.
Signs of green are finally beginning to appear.
