Barry holds a Master's Degree in Education from Whitworth University. He is a registered counselor, educational consultant, and facilitates personal growth workshops through Summit Quest. He currently works as an instructor at the Institute for Extended Learning (Community Colleges of Spokane).
On a pesonal level, he is proud to be a husband and father. His writing and photography explore the deeper meaning of life by examining family, culture, spirituality, dreams, and the environment.
