Rhonda and I attended the LDS Latin American Festival on Spokane's South Hill. As part of the program, we watched folk dances from Mexico, Peru, Chile, and a variety of others places. They also celebrated a procession of national flags from all the Spanish speaking countries of the world. From the minute I walked in the door, I got dragged into singing in the Spanish choir, but I have to admit that I had a great experience. At the end, we ate carne, beans, and rice, and then we danced to some awesome Mexican music.
We had a wonderful evening, but then I was left wondering why the gringo Mormons aren't this much fun.
